Enjoy taking these classes they are great projects to learn basic sewing on your machine, so why not start today!   Cost includes pattern and supplies, class time 3 hours.  Above classes by appointment. 

 

One on One owner’s lessons on your machine.  Lessons are typically 1-2 hours based on the machine, lessons are Free when you purchase a machine from Calla Lilly.  (If you have not had your machine serviced in the past year we highly recommend you do so,  this will make your sewing class time with us more pleasurable with less frustration.)

Sew What’s Next? 

Guided sewing day on select Tuesdays.  10am-3:30pm

How it works;

You must be registered for the class no later than the previous Friday.  If you require instruction on a specific technique, Please notify the instructor no later than one week previous, to allow for research time.  We will offer assistance in color choice, pattern selection, machine operation, presser foot selection, etc.  My experience is in bags and totes, quilting, machine embroidery, and home decor.

  Have you always wanted to learn how to sew garments? Or, do you just need a refresher course? for you! Second Friday of the Month: mySewnet Embroidery Software Training Begins

10:30 and to 12:30 pm: Class #1….Experience the “New” software.  This “hands-on” class is designed to give you an overview of the latest generation of Viking/Pfaff embroidery software. You will practice navigating to the various software components, and receive a brief explanation of the “limitless” creative capabilities my Sewnet software gives you.  Each month a ” new” class will be offered teaching one software component giving you more time to practice and ask questions.  All embroidery machine brands can use this amazing software.  Call Calla Lilly at 810-989-6100 to reserve your spot.  You will receive an email with a list of what to bring to class. 

 Let’s Learn t Use the Embroidery Ribbon Attachment

  In this “hands-on” class you will learn about the different design effects you can create with various ribbon sizes and types of ribbon.  You will learn how to thread the attachment with a ribbon and secure it to your machine. You will practice at least 2 different ribbon embroidery designs.  Call the Calla Lilly to reserve your spot.  You will receive an email with a list of supplies to bring to class.  (Past Class)

 Intro to Quilting

This is a bare-bones beginner’s class to learn the skills for proper cutting and piecing.  Helpful education of tools, fabrics, thread, and basic color palate.

Quilting Techniques -A class for beginners and confident beginners.  Different block/technique each month:.

Embroidery Techniques-10:30-2 pm A beginner class to help build embroidery skills.
